“Genmai” means unpolished brown rice. This speciality is made from Bancha tea, to which approximately 50% roasted or popped rice grains have been added. The mildness of the Bancha tea characterizes the incomparable taste and is ideally complemented by the pleasant, slightly sweet, nutty caramel note. This tea can be consumed all day thanks to its low caffeine and delicate mildness. Great for green tea beginners to have their first positive experience. Japanese people prefer this tea to be consumed in the afternoon.
